See an awesome demo: Kogeto reveals groundbreaking camera “Joey” for the first time at Droidcon NYC
What do you do when you want to create the world’s best 360-degree panoramic video camera? Launch a Kickstarter, of course! But first, you demo it at the biggest community-run Android conference ever. (Ahem.)
Today at Droidcon NYC, Kogeto Inc, creator of Dot(TM), the world’s smallest panoramic video accessory for the iPhone 5/5C/5S, reveals its latest innovation for the very first time.
“Joey’ is Kogeto’s most advanced 360-degree camera yet and is going to transform the way we communicate in professional environments,” said Jeff Glasse, Kogeto’s CEO. “It mixes portability with the highest quality in video, filming in up to 4K ultra high definition.”
The camera will be funded by a Kickstarter the company launched this week, and contributors will be able to get “Joey” for a steal: the first 50 contributors will pay just $750, and other backers can pocket it $850 after that.
(Go ahead and wait if you want to, but “Joey” will retail for $1299 when it officially hits the market.)
