Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI: A side-by-side comparison
Android and iOS have both begun to invest in declarative UI frameworks as their UI frameworks of the future. Compose and SwiftUI have many similarities that allow for a shared understanding of how to approach UI development, allowing each platform to learn from each other. At the New York Times we’ve leveraged this to have a common understanding of how we do UI development and be able to communicate across platforms and functions more easily. We will go through some examples on both platforms.
