This talk will take you on a tour of Compose tooling available in Android Studio, with live-coded examples that demonstrate how you can: - Get the most out of Composable Preview and Multipreview Annotations - Understand the limitations of Live Edit and where it can and can’t save you time - Use Layout Inspector to analyze your layout, allowing you to better understand recomposition and pinpoint performance issues - Choreograph your animations to perfection using Animation Preview - And more! Speaker Bio

Ramona is a Staff Software Engineer on the Audio team at The New York Times. Prior to that, she built Android apps at Touchlab. She is passionate about teaching and has taught Android Development at Pursuit, a New York City-based non-profit that aims to increase economic opportunity through technology training.
